In lieu of our normal ’20-’21 annual AAPT-Appalachian meeting, due to COVID-19, we will be holding a two-session, virtual meeting series. Each session will include an open discussion for people to share experiences about teaching in the current and ever-evolving COVID environment. Please find agenda below for each meeting in the series. It is not too late to participate! : Email organizer Justin Frantz at frantz@ohio.edu if you would like to contribute a short graphic, slides etc, for the Covid Teaching discussion sessions or even add further short talks to the agendas for either meeting. For the covid teaching discussions are looking to share as we did in the Fall mtg, any info related to your experiences with teaching during the pandemic, any tips or experiences you’ve had modifying your classes for covid, proctoring, lecturing remotely, remote lab experiences, successes and failures, etc., and finally any permanent impacts looking forward your teaching or institution may be anticipating.
